Hi there Thanks so much for choosing to spend some time with me in Paper Hearts and Summer Kisses. I hope that you find it to your liking! People often ask me how I find ideas for books. Mostly, I have to scratch around a bit and pull a few threads together – something I’ve heard or seen – until I have the semblance of a plot which I can then mould and shape. But, occasionally, a story is handed right to me on a silver platter. This lovely story came from the gift of a die-cutting machine which sparked an obsession with paper crafting, a weekend away and, quite probably, a bottle of wine. I owe a debt of gratitude to my friend Christine and her son Elliott for allowing me to tell this amazing tale. It’s full of tears, laughter and the incredible determination to overcome obstacles. I’m full of admiration for them both. So settle back in a comfy chair, immerse yourself in the story and, maybe, it might persuade you to try your hand at some paper crafting.
